I work all day and don’t have access to the print room.

I don’t have a press so I hand burnish.

I know I need a bigger roller for my ink but budget is tight atm, so I’m working with what I have.

It’s winter evenings so lighting is rubbish.

I had fun and made it anyway!

Snippet from last term on @csacbi where I created a graphic novel around the adventures of Brother Bruno and his Mandrake pal.

I would actually like to comeback to this project at some point, play around with the artwork a bit more and fully realise the story.

As someone that struggles with lettering, I’m keen to get back in the print room have a good old play with this dying art form. Hopefully 🤞 it will help improve the rest of my work!

Back at work now boo 😭 but had a lovely time in wales! Made this mini #zine towards the end of the holiday sat watching Dan play his new #Switch2

Probably should have made a plan for the images instead of winging it and also used better paper (it was the only large sheet I had on me ). But it was lots of fun and I’ve never made anything like it before. Should I tidy it up a bit and make a neater version?

She collages! ✂️ 🎨

During my observation and experiment module, I collaged for the very first time - well, I had done tiny bits before, but more in a ✨ mood board ✨ way, not in a make a cohesive piece of art way. Anyway, it turns out that I really enjoy it, and can make some stuff that I quite like.

During the last semester, I threw myself all in with my #collage experimentation. Here are some of the experiments from my sketchbook, some of which I used bits of when making my final artwork. At this point, I’m not sure if I’m a fully committed collage girlie, or if this is a short fling. Time will tell. ⏳
